In Japan, the "Wars" series names each game after the console it's on. So they had Famicom Wars, Super Famicom Wars, Game Boy Wars, etc. If the new game is coming out in Japan, it might have a different title, like Switch Wars or Advance Switch Wars. In America, all four games were called Advance Wars, even though half of them were on the DS.
That was my thought exactly regarding collectors for the content on the cartridge for Mario Golf. What happens when the switch becomes retro and the servers are turned off? We'll be locked into whatever was on the cartridge at launch.
New donk city is a great course choice in Mario Golf Super Rush.

It’s about time! One whole course…WOW! However, I don’t feel this is free content. Rather, it’s getting closer to a more “complete” game that should have been originally released as. More is needed for $60. Online ranked is cool though.

Personally it doesn't bother me if they "hold things back" when they still release them for no additional charge. A lot of games I would binge at release and put it down forever, but free updates keep me playing a game longer than if everything was just in it to begin with. I'm sure others are they same way, which is why Nintendo strategically decided to do it that way.

I don’t see ADVANCE WARS listed in the Japanese mag FAMITSU either. I DO see SUPER ROBOT WARS 30 listed in OCTOBER. Maybe AW is being pulled the two games are similar? Hmm.

I think it's safe to say at this point that the Switch Pro was fake. Looking forward to the Switch 2 in 2-3 years though.

I really don't think it doesn't matter to SONY and Nintendo if scalpers buy their consoles or not.
They sell 1 console, make a bit of money (Nintendo) or even lose money (SONY). The big buck is in selling games.
Scalpers aren't buying games for the consoles. And if I know that, SONY and Nintendo knows that. They do care, and their investors/shareholders care too.

When a company holds back content or lacks content just to sell your DLC later…I take issue. Nintendo is releasing it for free so I can't complain.

Interesting that no one brings up that (if I'm not wrong) switch is selling faster than the PS4 did! Also in 4 yrs the switch doubled PS4' s life time sells in Japan and may triple ps4's life time sells by the time it's done. But if it's playstation no one wants them to be out done. I don't want free updates…how about this…how about you finish the f**king game and then release it instead of drip feeding content/modes that should have been included in the first place.
